Kingsoft Fast AIT 2002 - setting it up for my boyfriend

so my boyfriend wanted to be able to run this software to 'backstrokify' his own starwars project....i know my way around a computer so i decided to help set it up and create an ova for it.

the process

first i needed to download the iso for the program from here. i tried running it on my win 11 virtual machine to dick around but...

oopsi . no charset so moving on to a windows xp virtual machine!

setting one up in simplified chinese + translating the software key stuff...

software was gotten here and is > M6TF9-8XQ2M-YQK9F-7TBB2-XGG88 which worked perfectly thank god

at this point, i now had to add in the iso. thank god it's an iso because i just mount and the run the software inside which will hopefully still work.

once it's loaded in like this, it should be avalible as disc drive on the xp machine.

now we can install the software! once it's install it will change your wallpaper to whaterver this is. don't run this on your home machine because it will change wallpaper even on a win11 machine.

now that it's install, it should work perfectly!
